Product Description

VW Reflex Silver (LA7W) is one of Volkswagen’s most popular metallic silver automotive colours, known for its clean bright finish, smooth metallic effect, and consistent appearance across multiple models.

Application system

2-stage system:

• Basecoat (colour)
• Clearcoat (gloss & protection)

Mixing & application

Basecoat:

• Mix 1:1 with thinners only
• Do not add hardener

Clearcoat:

• Mix 2:1 with hardener
• Add 10–20% thinners if required

Spraying

• Apply 2–3 coats of basecoat
• Allow 5–10 minutes between coats
• Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability

Surface preparation

• Sand surface using P320–P400 for preparation
• Finish with P600–P800 before painting
• Prime if required and sand smooth
• Clean thoroughly before application

Finishing

After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss professional finish.

• Audi: commonly in the boot or service book
• Other vehicles: under bonnet, service book, or door jamb
