Renault Gold Jaune Miel (EPA)  is a distinctive pearl yellow OEM colour, known for its warm honey tone with a soft metallic shimmer. It delivers a vibrant yet refined finish with excellent depth and light reflection.

Application system
3-stage system:

Groundcoat (base layer)
Midcoat / pearl layer
Clearcoat (gloss & protection)

Mixing & application

Groundcoat:

• Mix 1:1 with thinners only
• Do not add hardener

Midcoat:

• Apply evenly to achieve correct pearl effect
• Build colour gradually in light coats

Clearcoat:

• Mix 2:1 with hardener
• Add 10–20% thinners if needed

Spraying:

• Apply groundcoat until full coverage is achieved
• Follow with 1–2 coats of pearl midcoat
• Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability

Surface preparation

• Sand surface (P320–P400 for preparation, P600–P800 for finishing)
• Prime if needed, then sand smooth
• Clean thoroughly before painting

Finishing
After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss, professional finish.

Colour code locations may vary depending on the vehicle manufacturer:

Renault: usually found on the door jamb, under the bonnet, or service book
Volkswagen / Audi: boot near spare wheel
Ford: driver’s door frame or door jamb
