Nissan Brilliant Silver (K23) – Plascon MasterMix Automotive Paint
Nissan Brilliant Silver (K23) is a widely used metallic silver OEM colour, known for its bright, clean appearance and fine metallic finish. It offers excellent consistency and is one of Nissan’s most popular silver shades.
Professionally matched using Plascon MasterMix for reliable colour accuracy and a high-quality automotive finish.

Application system
2-stage system:
Basecoat (colour)
Clearcoat (gloss & protection)
Mixing & application
Basecoat:
• Mix 1:1 with thinners only
• Do not add hardener
Clearcoat:
• Mix 2:1 with hardener
• Add 10–20% thinners if needed
Spraying:
• Apply 2–3 coats of basecoat (allow 5–10 minutes between coats)
• Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability
Surface preparation
• Sand surface (P320–P400 for preparation, P600–P800 for finishing)
• Prime if needed, then sand smooth
• Clean thoroughly before painting
Finishing
After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss, professional finish.
How to find your colour code
Colour code locations may vary depending on the vehicle manufacturer:
Nissan: usually found under the bonnet, firewall, or door jamb
Volkswagen / Audi: boot near spare wheel
Ford: driver’s door frame or door jamb
