Land Rover Ipanema Sand (GAC) – Plascon MasterMix Automotive Paint
Land Rover Ipanema Sand (GAC) is a distinctive metallic beige OEM colour, known for its warm sandy tone with subtle gold undertones. It delivers a premium, earthy finish commonly found on luxury SUV models.
Professionally matched using Plascon MasterMix for reliable colour accuracy and a high-quality automotive finish.

Application system
2-stage system:
Basecoat (colour)
Clearcoat (gloss & protection)
Mixing & application
Basecoat:
• Mix 1:1 with thinners only
• Do not add hardener
Clearcoat:
• Mix 2:1 with hardener
• Add 10–20% thinners if needed
Spraying:
• Apply 2–3 coats of basecoat (allow 5–10 minutes between coats)
• Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability
Surface preparation
• Sand surface (P320–P400 for preparation, P600–P800 for finishing)
• Prime if needed, then sand smooth
• Clean thoroughly before painting
Finishing
After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss, professional finish.
How to find your colour code
Colour code locations may vary depending on the vehicle manufacturer:
Land Rover: under bonnet, door jamb, or service book
Volkswagen / Audi: boot near spare wheel
Ford: driver’s door frame or door jamb
