Application system
2-stage system:
- Basecoat (colour)
- Clearcoat (gloss & protection)
Mixing & application
Basecoat:
- Mix 1:1 with thinners only
- Do not add hardener
Clearcoat:
- Mix 2:1 with hardener
- Add 10–20% thinners if needed
Spraying:
- Apply 2–3 coats of basecoat (allow 5–10 minutes between coats)
- Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability
Surface preparation
- Sand surface (P320–P400 for preparation, P600–P800 for finishing)
- Prime if needed, then sand smooth
- Clean thoroughly before painting
Finishing
After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss, professional finish.
How to find your colour code
Colour code locations may vary depending on the vehicle manufacturer:
- Toyota: usually found under the bonnet or on the driver’s door frame
- Volkswagen / Audi: commonly found in the boot near the spare wheel area
- Other vehicles: may be located under the bonnet, door jamb, or service book
