Audi Gletscherweiss Metallic (LS9R), also known as Glacier White Metallic, is a sophisticated white metallic automotive colour with a refined finish and subtle metallic effect. It delivers a clean, bright appearance with added depth and light reflection.

Application system

2-stage system:

Basecoat (colour)
Clearcoat (gloss & protection)

Mixing & application

Basecoat:
• Mix 1:1 with thinners only
• Do not add hardener

Clearcoat:
• Mix 2:1 with hardener
• Add 10–20% thinners if required, according to the product technical data sheet

Spraying:
• Apply 2–3 coats of basecoat, allowing 5–10 minutes between coats
• Finish with 2 coats of clearcoat for gloss and durability

Surface preparation

• Sand surface (P320–P400 for preparation, P600–P800 for finishing)
• Prime if needed, then sand smooth
• Clean thoroughly before painting

Finishing

After curing, polish using Presta polish to achieve a high-gloss, professional finish.
